Atlanta, Georgia
Grant Park gay dive bar with karaoke, pool, and burgers in back.
The T is a gay dive bar tucked into a Grant Park strip mall, marked only by a discreet sign and sharing its building with a nail salon and a martial arts studio. Inside it's one room: a rectangular center bar under purple string lights, a pool table in back, and a jukebox. Formerly the Model T and the Grant Park Tavern, it draws a crowd that skews 40-plus and mostly male. A takeout kitchen, Boulevard Burgers and Bites, runs out of the space, and the weekly calendar stays neighborhood-casual, with Thursday karaoke, Texas Hold'em tournaments, and Keno. This is the quiet-night alternative to the Midtown club circuit: regulars, cheap drink specials, and conversation you can actually hear. Worth a stop if you want the local-bar side of gay Atlanta rather than the dance floor.
