Part of the Gay Berlin Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Berlin, Germany
Currywurst stand on Motzstraße at the former home of legendary Tom's Bar — a QueerCityPass partner.
Currywurst stand on Motzstraße in Schöneberg, Berlin's historic gay quarter, sitting at the address that for decades belonged to Tom's Bar — the legendary leather and cruising bar that ran from 1982 until it closed in early 2024 (Barcelona's Boyberry took over the space that March). The snack window does classic Berlin Imbiss food: currywurst, bratwurst, fries, and a vegan version, fast and cheap. It's a QueerCityPass partner with a community discount. Motzstraße runs from Nollendorfplatz down through the densest stretch of the gay scene, and Toms Wurst is the obvious refuel between rounds at Heile Welt, Hafen, and the bars along the street. Late-night grease with a side of neighborhood history — the kind of stop that's half the point of a Schöneberg crawl.
