Part of the Gay London Guide — bars, events & things to do.

London, London
Clapham LGBTQ+ cabaret venue with drag and karaoke since 1981.
The Two Brewers has been the centre of gravity for Clapham's gay scene since 1981, one of South London's longest-running queer venues and among the best-known drag cabaret rooms in the city. The draw is the show: glitter-heavy cabaret, lip-sync and live drag most nights of the week, backed by karaoke, quizzes and late club nights that keep the floor going after the performers wrap. The crowd is a mix of South London locals and people who travel across the river for the cabaret, friendlier and less scene-y than the central Soho bars. It works equally well as a sit-down-for-a-show night or a proper late one. On Clapham High Street, a short walk from Clapham Common station, it's the obvious anchor for a night out south of the river — and a long-standing alternative to making the trek into the West End.
