Downtown men's underwear and swimwear boutique, gay-owned since 2006.
underU4men is a gay-owned men's underwear and swimwear boutique in downtown Portland, founded in 2006 by Steven Lien. It stocks well over 100 brands, from Calvin Klein and Saxx to Nasty Pig and aussieBum, running from everyday basics to body-forward designs, plus gymwear, resortwear, grooming products, and an in-house barbershop. In November 2025 the shop moved from its longtime SW Washington Street flagship to 1013 SW Morrison Street in the Galleria district, with founder Steven Lien retiring and the store passing into employee ownership. For close to two decades it has doubled as the official Travel Gay Portland visitor center, and over the years it's hosted Pride events and underwear-model nights. For a traveler it's a genuinely useful downtown stop, part shop and part informal welcome desk for gay Portland.
