Indianapolis, Indiana
Queer cabaret bar on Mass Ave — Crema café by day, drag shows and tapas by night.
A queer cabaret and cocktail bar on Mass Ave, Indianapolis's main arts and entertainment corridor. By day it operates as Crema, a specialty espresso bar. Evenings shift to craft cocktails, Spanish-influenced tapas (patatas bravas, serrano ham, Basque cheesecake), and live entertainment on the in-house stage. The recurring lineup includes EMERGENCE, an open drag show on the second Thursday of each month run by house queen Lady Dumpster, plus Latin jazz nights with live salsa (last Friday), all-vinyl DJ sets (first Saturday), and occasional burlesque. The space is intimate — more cabaret seating than dance floor — and the programming is intentionally inclusive and LGBTQ+ forward.
