Saugatuck, Michigan
Barn café and bike rentals right on the Blue Star Trail
Blue Star Barns is a coffee shop and bike rental housed in an actual barn off the Blue Star Highway in Saugatuck, one of the Midwest's most established LGBTQ+ vacation towns. Espresso drinks, locally sourced baked goods, and Michigan wine are served inside and on the patio, while out back, traditional bikes and e-bikes rent by the hour. The location sits directly across from the Blue Star Trail, a 20-mile paved path connecting Saugatuck to South Haven — ride into town in minutes or loop the rolling countryside. On the second weekend of each month from May through November, the barns host pop-up markets with vintage finds, antiques, pottery, handmade jewelry, and food trucks. Bikes available daily 10am–6pm.
