Saugatuck, Michigan
Farm-to-table fine dining with a six-course tasting menu option
Saugatuck's most elevated dining experience, tucked into a cozy downtown space at 236 Culver Street. Executive Chef Rick Bower sources seasonal, locally driven ingredients to craft coastal-inspired dishes with unexpected details — think seared scallops with Michigan sweet corn risotto, foie gras with local apple, and lamb lollipops. The real draw is the tasting menu: six or nine courses with optional wine pairings that reviewers consistently compare to NYC-caliber fine dining. The atmosphere strikes a balance between sophisticated and warm — fireside seating indoors, a beautiful garden patio outside, and a bar with handcrafted cocktails and curated wine flights. Dinner service Wednesday through Saturday, with brunch and dinner on Sundays in season. Reservations highly recommended, especially on weekends. It's a splurge, but a memorable one.
