Saugatuck, Michigan
Saugatuck's refreshed two-story breakfast-to-dinner spot on Butler St
A Butler Street icon with over 30 years of history, now refreshed under new ownership by Carrie and Phil Caldwell (as of 2025) with an edgier, seafood-forward twist. The renovated two-story space has a lounging area and patio on the first floor, and a dining room with deck on the second — designed to feel like you're hanging out at home. The kitchen serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner: crab eggs benedict and avocado toast in the morning, blackened mahi tacos, crab cakes, lobster ravioli, cedar salmon, and seared swordfish later on. Phil runs a creative cocktail program that includes a smoked old fashioned and a drink with activated charcoal. Live music on weekends. Family-owned, female-owned, and proudly LGBTQ+-friendly — they want everyone to feel comfortable making memories here. Carrie and Phil are on-site every day, and regulars say that personal touch is what sets the place apart. Dog-friendly patio.
