Part of the Gay Fort Lauderdale Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Fort Lauderdale's leather and fetish cruise bar since 1994.
Open since 1994, Ramrod is Fort Lauderdale's leather, Levi, and uniform bar and the anchor of the NE 4th Avenue corridor. The interior leans into the part, with industrial fixtures, gargoyles, and jail-cell details, plus a pool table, a bootblack station running on weekends, and the LeatherWerks shop on-site for gear, toys, and accessories. Out back, the Skull and Boner patio bar is the quieter place to cruise. Its signature is the Pig Dance on the first Saturday of each month, a guest-DJ night with a big outdoor setup, alongside an "Enforced Dress Code" night on third Sundays and a calendar of fetish-leaning events. The bar marked its 30th anniversary in 2024 and remains the kink-and-leather heart of the local scene, heavy-duty when it wants to be but welcoming to newcomers who show up respectful.
