Part of the Gay Wilton Manors Guide — bars, events & things to do.

The circuit parties, afterhours and official events happening across Wicked Manors in Wilton Manors — dates, venues and tickets.
Every Halloween, Wilton Drive shuts down and turns into one giant open-air costume party. Wicked Manors is South Florida's biggest gay Halloween celebration — tens of thousands of people in head-to-toe looks packing the heart of Wilton Manors, one of the gayest cities per capita in America. Think runway-caliber costumes, drag on the main stage, and every bar on the Drive throwing its own party at once.
If you take Halloween seriously — and in Wilton Manors, people take it very seriously — this is the one to plan a trip around.
Pro Tip
Wicked Manors is a costume event first and a bar crawl second. Locals plan their looks months out and the competition is fierce — a last-minute drugstore costume will feel underdressed. Go big or go as a "sexy skeleton" and blend in.
For most of the year, Wilton Drive is a walkable strip of gay bars, restaurants, and shops — the main artery of Wilton Manors. On Halloween, the city barricades the street, a main stage goes up, and the whole Drive becomes a pedestrian-only party from NE 21st Court down to Dixie Highway.
You'll find live entertainment and drag performances on the main stage, DJs spinning between the bars, food and drink vendors, and a costume crowd that treats the Drive like a runway. The bars along the route — Georgie's Alibi, Hunters, The Manor, the Eagle, and more — each run their own Halloween programming, so the energy spills from the street into every doorway.
Because it benefits The Pride Center at Equality Park, entry is ticketed, and you'll want to grab tickets in advance rather than at the gate. Come early if you want room to actually see the stage; by mid-evening the Drive is shoulder-to-shoulder.
The magic of Wicked Manors is that every venue on Wilton Drive is going off at the same time. The street festival is the anchor, but the bars are where the night stretches into the early hours.
These are the gay bars and clubs lining the route — hit as many as your costume can handle.
When the street festival wraps at 11, the party moves indoors to the two big clubs on the Drive:
Pro Tip
The clubs get slammed right after the street festival ends. If dancing until close is your plan, buy any club or VIP tickets ahead of time — cover lines on Halloween night are brutal.

Wilton Manors is compact, so where you stay comes down to one question: do you want to walk home from the Drive, or do you want the beach?
The move for Wicked Manors is a gay guesthouse within walking distance of the Drive — you can drop your keys, change costumes, and stumble home without a rideshare.
Prefer a full-service hotel or a beach base? Fort Lauderdale's beach and Las Olas hotels are a 10–15 minute rideshare from Wilton Manors.
Wilton Manors and neighboring Fort Lauderdale have excellent vacation rentals — great for groups splitting a costume house for the weekend. Book early; Halloween is peak season and inventory near the Drive goes fast.
Pro Tip
Halloween weekend overlaps with South Florida's busy fall season. Lock in lodging 2–3 months out — the closest guesthouses to Wilton Drive sell out first and prices climb as October 31 approaches.
Uber and Lyft are the easiest way in and out. Wilton Drive itself is closed, so your driver will drop you a block or two off the route — expect surge pricing and a short walk. Set a meeting spot with your group before you lose signal in the crowd.
Street and lot parking around Wilton Manors fills up fast and much of the area near the Drive is barricaded. If you drive, arrive early and be ready to park several blocks away, or use a rideshare instead.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) is about 15–20 minutes from Wilton Manors. Miami International (MIA) is roughly 45 minutes. Both have easy rideshare and rental options.
Pro Tip
Wilton Manors is tiny and walkable — once you're on the Drive, everything is on foot. The only real transportation you'll need is the ride in and the ride home.
